Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the item.
To exercise this right, you must notify us within the deadline via email.
The item must be returned in the same condition as received. You are responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and function of the item.
Returns
When exercising your right of withdrawal, you are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.
Returns must be sent to the address provided after contacting our customer service.
We recommend using tracked shipping.
Refunds
Once we have received and inspected the returned item, a refund will be issued within 14 days.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Auction items (purchases made through bidding)
- Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to hygiene reasons if unsealed
- Custom or special order items
Used goods / collectibles
Eventyrhuset also sells used items and collectibles. These may show signs of wear. Any known defects or condition details will be described in the product listing.
Pre-orders
Pre-orders may be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of placing the order.
After this period, the order is considered binding, as the item is ordered specifically for the customer from our supplier. Pre-orders exceeding 4,000 NOK are binding and non-refundable, as we are committed to our suppliers immediately upon placing the order. Due to these supplier obligations, large pre-orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed.
All release dates and delivery estimates shown for pre-orders are provided by the supplier and may change. Delays can occur due to production schedules, shipping, or other factors outside our control. By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and accept that the delivery date may change if the supplier adjusts the release or delivery schedule. Because we commit to purchasing the item from our supplier based on your order, pre-orders cannot normally be cancelled due to changes in the estimated delivery date. If the supplier ultimately cannot deliver the product, the full amount will of course be refunded.
There are certain situations where only partial or no refunds are granted (if applicable)
Book with obvious signs of use
CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened (applies to all, unless the item is still sealed)
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at post@eventyrisk.no and send your item to: Hellerudveien 22 B, 0672 OSLO, Norway.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
