Considered a timeless classic, Jaws is the 1975 American thriller directed by Steven Spielberg. Based on the 1974 novel by Peter Benchley, Jaws became widely considered as one of the greatest achievements in film.

Universal Studio's Jaws ride first debuted in 1990 in Orlando Florida. With a $45 million dollar installation budget, the ride quickly became a well-known attraction at the park and another installation was later opened at Universal Studios Japan in 2001.

The hanging Shark in Orlando, a photo-opt second to none, became a tribute to the great movie's history.
